완주=뉴시스] 윤난슬 기자 = 전북 우석대학교 산학협력단은 25일 지역 바이오산업 발전을 위해 나무숨과 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 정희석 산학협력단장과 이원웅 약학과장, 한주희(약학과) 교수, 조동술 대표이사, 김세희 이사, 최영란 실장 등을 비롯해 양 기관 관계자 10여 명이 참석했다. .

우석대 산학협력단은 약학과를 중심으로 나무숨과 ▲바이오 분야 공동 기술개발 ▲기술 및 경영 자문, 공동연구 ▲인력 및 시설 설비의 공동 활용 ▲학생의 산업체 인턴십 및 현장실습 ▲교원의 산업체 현장 연수 ▲산학협력 세미나 및 특강 등 산학협력 프로그램 운영 ▲학생의 취업 및 프로젝트 공동 수행 등에 관한 협력 사업을 추진할 방침이다.

특히 한주희 교수는 나무숨과 함께 천연원료 소재를 활용한 '고위험군 감염원에 의한 사이토카인 폭풍을 조절할 수 있는 감염 치료제'를 개발할 계획이다.
